Automotive Technologies - Terms and Conditions


Orders: Place a quantity in the box beside the parts you require on the search list for your particular vehicle, then click ADD. (To view your order, click SHOPPING BASKET on the left. If you wish to change the order quantities, make the changes in the Qty box and click UPDATE ORDER or if you wish to delete items and start again, click CLEAR BASKET. When you are satisfied with your order, click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT). Complete all details on the order, then click SUBMIT ORDER. Alternatively, if you know the part numbers you want, type them in to the Message Box on the order form, complete the remainder of the details, and SUBMIT ORDER. Your order will be safely processed through our secure on-line ordering facility generally within 24 hours.

We can also accept orders by Telephone (03) 5341 8454, Fax (03) 5341 8456, or Mail P.O. Box 103, Buninyong Vic. 3357 Australia. You are also welcome to collect your orders at our warehouse, (6A Somerville St. Buninyong) but please phone ahead to arrange a mutually acceptable time.

Back-Orders: We stock thousands of parts, and every effort will be made to ship your order complete, however some items will inevitably be temporarily out of stock, and will be placed on back-order (unless you specify "no back-orders"). There are also some items only available to special order from our various suppliers. Back-orders and special orders may take from a few days to several weeks, depending on shipping schedules etc. (Air freight can be arranged at additional cost for items needed quickly.)

Payment: All orders must be pre-paid. We will accept payment by credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Bankcard, American Express), cheque, money order, internet banking or direct bank deposit (call us for details). COD is also available in some circumstances. (No COD on large items, or to addresses outside Australia).

Shipping & Insurance: Goods are supplied on an ex-warehouse basis. Whilst we take every care to pack and dispatch your order to ensure safe and timely arrival at its destination, we take no responsibility for loss or damage once the consignment leaves our warehouse. Most orders are shipped by Australia Post. Large items will be shipped by truck. Optional "Goods In Transit" insurance is available if requested at time of order. Shipping and Insurance costs are additional to order. Orders paid by credit card will have these charges added at the time the order is processed. If paying by other means, please contact us first for these costs so that you can include them in your payment. Some fragile items (eg: glass, mouldings, etc) will incur an additional cost for packing. Insurance is recommended on these items. Inspect each shipment as soon as it arrives, especially fragile items, preferably in the presence of the delivery driver. Report any damage to driver immediately. If it is not practical to inspect shipment at time of delivery, mark Consignment Note "S.T.C." (subject to check) when signing. [ If you sign Con. Note without this qualification, you are signing that the goods have been "received in good order and condition", which makes it very difficult to claim for damage in transit later.] Claims for transit damage or loss must be made with the carrier.

Prices: Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (A$) and include applicable rate of Goods and Services Tax (GST). [GST is not charged on goods delivered outside Australia or its' Territories. Foreign customers, please contact us for special GST exempt prices.] Prices include inwards freight costs by sea freight from our overseas suppliers. Air freight is available for out of stock or special order items if you require them quickly, at extra cost. Prices are subject to change without notice, due to variations in exchange rate, duty, suppliers prices etc. Prices ruling at time of delivery will apply.

Warranty: All new parts are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship as supplied, for 30 days from delivery date. Whilst statutory obligations apply, in no event will we be liable for consequential damages, or for the installation or adjustment, or for any other expenses which may arise in conjunction with the goods or advice supplied by us. Our liability is limited to, and shall not exceed, the value equivalent to the purchase price paid. Defective items will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. (Parts must be returned freight pre-paid. We will pay shipping on replacement item.) Under no circumstances will replacement parts be provided until defective parts are returned to us for inspection. Original invoice must accompany goods.

Returns: If you are not satisfied with any part*, it may be returned in unused, re-sellable condition (in original packaging) within 30 days from invoice date for a refund (less cost of shipping, insurance and packing as applicable). Returns over 30 days, and up to 90 days may be accepted, but will be subject to a 20% restocking charge. No returns accepted without original invoice. Please determine suitability of fit prior to final installation, as parts will not be accepted for return once installed. All returns must have prior authorization from us. Purchaser is responsible for return freight. COD returns will not be accepted.
* Electrical items, special order items, cut to length items, decals, books and literature will not be accepted for return.

Privacy: We have the greatest respect for your privacy. All details provided by you will be used only for the purposes of processing your order, and will not be disclosed to a third party. All payment details are encrypted through our secure web site for your protection.
